We hired Merav for our wedding day and we're so glad that we did! She was responsive and kind throughout the entire planning process. She was such a joy to work with! She understood the overall vibe we wanted for our reception and offered suggestions on the music to play. One of my favorite things about her was her attention to detail. For example, before the reception started she made it a point to talk to everyone in our wedding party to ensure that she pronounced everyone's names correctly for the reception entrance. Additionally, she remembered that I wanted some songs to start playing at certain points - whether it was for the cake cutting or bouquet toss. I was so happy that she remembered that! These are small details, but ones that we very much appreciated. We cannot recommend Merav enough! -Ashley & Ryan

We loved having Merav as our DJ for our wedding. She was everything and more. She listened to everything we wanted - from when to fade songs in and out to what songs we would like played at different points of the day (pre-ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception). She called and checked in with a couple days before the wedding which completely put me at ease! Highly recommend! -Jocelyn & Danny

Merav was very easy to work with which, as the bride, made my life much less stressed during the wedding planning process. The booking process was painless and our DJ, Merav was very client service focused and thorough during the entire process. She checked in at the appropriate times to remind me for our playlist as I submitted it later than I should have:) Merav took our playlist and constructed an amazing and fun music mix. I had many folks make it a point to tell me how much they enjoyed the music. In addition, she was on-time the day of our event, had everything setup prior to the event start, was incredibly professional and yet personable. She was very easy to work with and very focused on making us and our guests happy. We would absolutely recommend Merav! -Kim & Mike

Merav did an outstanding job at our wedding. Everyone was talking about the music! I loved that we had a crowd on the dance floor the entire time and she made it a party. She was super friendly and really listened to what music we wanted. Merav was also very easy to work with! My ceremony was at a different location than the reception so I just had to trust that she would show up and set up on time and everything was perfect. Highly recommended! - Amber & Ben

Our DJ Merav, was absolutely AMAZING!!! She was so friendly and personable, and really did an incredible job reading the crowd! Our guestlist was made up of a rather eclectic mix of my husband’s family and our friends from all over the US, and my family from Burma and Singapore, so we weren’t sure what kind of music would work for this group. But Merav did her magic, and really got everyone up and moving! It was so much fun to see my 60-year-old dad working it on the dance floor right alongside my husband’s 10-year-old nephew. Merav also looked like she was enjoying the music she was playing, which may not seem like a big deal, but really added to the overall feel of the dance floor. A few of our guests actually came up to us and said Merav was the best DJ they’d ever seen at a wedding. So I highly recommend Merav for any event! -Juju & Chris

DJ Merav was amazing. She read the to quickly and found the music that got everyone dancing. Her music and mixes were all amazing and everyone commented on how awesome she was for days. Beyond her talent as a DJ, she checked in with us beforehand and accommodated some troubleshooting the day before. She was thoughtful and professional. DJ Merav was the DJ at my wedding, and I could not recommend her more highly. She was super easy to work with in preparing for the wedding--especially during those very stressful couple of weeks leading up to the big day. I really appreciated how much effort she put in to curating playlists beforehand for our cocktail hour, dinner, and dance portion of the reception that fit with our musical preferences and my overall vision for the wedding. Not only did I feel very listened to by Merav, but I felt like she completely understood what I wanted and executed it to perfection. I am a bit of an over-planner, and had a ton of song selections, and Merav did an incredible job reviewing my song selections and completely playing to our overall musical vibe, while also reading the tone of the wedding guests, etc. Merav made it clear that she wanted our wedding day to be perfect, and she played a huge role in that becoming a reality. DJ Merav is an incredible talent. She can completely read the room, gets the party going, and there was never a lull or a dull moment on the dance floor. She was a rock star at our wedding. She was super friendly to all our guests [despite how annoying I am sure some guests became later in the evening... lol], and if at any point I, as the bride, ever wanted to hear a specific song, she would legitimately play that song next. All of our guests had such a blast on the dance floor and there was never a dull moment or misstep in music choices. She truly never missed a beat ;) I could not be more thankful that DJ Merav was a part of our wedding. - Kessa P.

Merav DJ'ed our wedding, and she was amazing! She worked with last minute changes and a very blended age group to make sure our wedding was the best it could have been. She even took pictures of our first dance and emailed them to us, and they were beautiful! Thank you for being such a flexible DJ! New Year's Eve Celebration From the first time I had the pleasure of experiencing Merav's sound, I knew that something exciting had happened to Redlands. The vibe was lush, energetic, and new. Not the regular string of top 20's that other entertainers are obsessed with throwing together. And on the eve of New Year's, when I walked in to the bar, I was so surprised and happy to see that Merav was there to take us flying into the new year! Merav's musical prowess was PHENOMENAL. WOW WOW WOW!!! Merav you did an outstanding job. Once the plan was discussed, ahead of time, the ceremony and reception went on so perfectly. As one of the brides, I never once had to even think about the music part of the wedding. You played the most perfect music and you really know how to work a room and keep the dancing and partying going. This particular group of invited guests love to dance and have fun, and you made it happen over and over again. Thanks again so so much for making our wedding perfect. DJ Merav was great! It was really important to my wife and I that the music was well handled. As a couple we have a very eclectic taste in music ranging from 60's folk to 90's hip hop to Indie rock to Neo Soul to 80s dance to 70s funk... You get the idea. But Merav was on point. The music flowed with the event and was able to represent our crazy taste in music. I was impressed with her skills and her professionalism. I highly recommend Merav for you next event. -Leo C. Merav was great. She knew just the type of music to play for our audience at the right time. I asked her to play "Frank Sinatra type" music while people came in and started to eat, and then we turned to more current music as the night continued. My surprise was how many older temple members joined in when the music got fast and furious! It was wonderful. Everyone loved her song choices and she kept people on the floor for a long period of time. I would definitely call her for a repeat performance! I can't say enough about our experience with DJ Merav! The bar mitzvah party was for kids and adult family and friends alike and EVERYONE loved DJ Merav! Not only did Merav bring excitement, fun and life to the party with her music, personality, dancing with the kids, organizing games with the kids, plus awesome light show; my son and I enjoyed our planning sessions with Merav as well! My son's main desire and party wish, as a budding DJ himself, was to be able to do a couple of his own sets and DJ Merav was just wonderful and AMAZING in how she took time to work with him prior to the event, offer professional tips, guidance and total flexibility to the structure of our celebration. We ran into some technical issues in planning our Video Montage and DJ Merav was skillfully able to add and play the accompanying music we gave her. From the opening Hora, to my son's musical entrance, to the variety of requested music - thanks to DJ Merav's talents, charisma and charm - everyone had a fantastic time. This was a teens only Bar Mitzvah party which DJ Merov managed perfectly. She is very professional, fun, and creative. She arrived on time and the music started at the exact time. Kids loved her and they were dancing all night. She also had fun games for them to play. We are very pleased with her performance and strongly recommend her. - Masoud Abaei

DJ Merav was amazing at our Dr. Suess Birthday Celebration. She complimented our library event extremely well. I have to say she got the kids dancing and having a great time on the dance floor! It's simple- you need to hire Merav for your event. She will exceed your expectations as a DJ and you will love working with her. I met Merav a few months ago when she joined my yoga studio. At the time we were looking for someone to DJ special events and so we asked her to spin for our upcoming Summer Beach Party. To be honest, I am pretty picky when it comes to music but I took a chance anyway because she was so fun and easy to get along with so I thought, why not? She blew me away. Not only was the playlist perfect, the transitions flawless, and the energy spot on, but she also brought her personality into her work by dancing with us, and even playing the Ukulele! Since then she has done other events with us and everyone always RAVES about her. Merav is skilled, fun, professional, and easy to get along with. I take a lot of pride in the music we use at the studio and often tease that I am world's greatest DJ- but I now concede to runner up as Merav has more than earned that title. -Vasa Studio

10/10/2015 Wedding Reception DJ Merav brings a great attitude, great music and a great sense of event timing. As a wedding coordinator, I work with many DJs and vendors and I was very impressed with Merav. One of my many jobs, as a wedding coordinator, is to keep the wedding on schedule while also making sure things are flowing in an organic way. Merav was very receptive to this and handled her part in this with ease. She was great at reading the crowd, adjusting, and keeping things rolling. Given this particular wedding had many lengthy speeches, there were times I went to Merav to discuss timing changes and she was always on the same page if not one-step ahead of me- already adjusting her set! She kept the guests moving and grooving with respect to the bride and groom's timeline. By the end of the night, the dance floor was full and people were begging her to stay a bit later and she did! You can tell DJ Merav loves her job, loves the music and loves to see people enjoying themselves. To those looking for a great DJ- I would highly recommend DJ Merav for any event. I can’t thank Merav enough for bringing all her energy and vitality to my daughters wedding. We had such a memorable event and it was such a pleasure to have Merav as our DJ. I made quite a few changes as we went along (last minute bouquet toss, changed the bridal party introductions, even choreographed a song to jump in the pool to on a whim) and she handled the whole event beautifully. Merav had all of us shaking our booties in our down dogs! Her infectious smile and positive energy is enough to fill any room. But her DJ skills add something truly magical. In this class, she threw down the freshest remixes and kept the energy building, totally synced with the yoga flow! It was amazing to be a part of such a class. Merav was our DJ at the Bar Mitzvah party for my twin boys on May16th, 2015. She was great - she was able to pick the right music for 3 generations of guests attending the party. Everyone was dancing and having a great time. She also took us really well though the Hora and was a great announcer as well. I highly recommend her! - Simona K. |
